About Us
Magdalen Hall Tenants and Residents Association is run by a committee of volunteers from the estates of St. Saviours, Purbrook & Aylwin (over 700 homes). We are formally recognised by Southwark Council. We are governed by our Constitution and elections are held yearly at our Annual General Meeting on the last Thursday of July.
We manage and run the beautiful Magdalen Hall, located a stone throw away from Tower Bridge, with London Bridge, a major transportation hub nearby. It has a spacious hall for rent with a stage for parties, functions, classes and theatre productions; supplemented by two bars at modest prices and discounts for members (tenants and residents of the estates). All are welcome to join us at this wonderful venue. We take pride in our community and promote diversity, tolerance and equality.

Hall Rent Prices: -
£30ph - Non-members
£25ph - Members
There is a £100 deposit required, plus terms and conditions.

Private Bar Hire (£12.50ph)
Drinks at the bar are at social club prices for members and modest prices for non-members. Check out our menu.
BBQ Hire (£25)
We have a large BBQ for rent perfect for big events. We will supply the coal, you provide the food.
Chair Cover Hire (£0.30 per chair)
Facilities:
The hall capacity is 100 and is perfect for any type of workshops, functions, rehearsal space, audition space, parties and productions.
Kitchen with a cooker, fridge and microwave, a private bar, stage, sound system, disco lights, DJ booth, free WiFi & live sports.
We have fourteen 6ft fold-able tables and eighty chairs.

We also have a secondary smaller hall, which is perfect for classes or small functions. If you would like to enter into a agreement with us, send us an email.

What Does Our Bar Offer?
Our Community Bar hosts live sport on TNT, including Premier League, Europa League, Champions League and Rugby League fixtures.

Our prices are at the social club rate. Check out our menu. A price for a beer is £4.00, for a bottle is £3.00. We have a large selection of spirits that all can enjoy.
